Formula 2 hits the track for in-season testing around Barcelona

Three rounds down in 2024 and ahead of Round 4 in Imola, Formula 2 returns to the track for three days of in-season testing. Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya hosts what many expect to be a pivotal run out for the entirety of the grid.
Running from Tuesday to Thursday, teams and drivers will get the opportunity to trial new setups and work out the kinks from the early phase of the 2024 campaign. Who will head to Imola in the best shape? All the action from each day of testing will be covered online and via the FIA Formula 2 social media.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Three days of running from April 23-25 will take place around the familiar venue in Barcelona, with six hours of track time on each day giving teams and drivers plenty of time to log mileage.
The sessions on days one and two will run from 09:00 to 12:00 local time and 14:00 to 17:00 local time. Day three will run with a slightly altered timetable in the afternoon, with the PM session commencing at 13:00 and finishing at 16:00 local time.
Teams will have access to five sets of the white-walled hards and three sets of the red-marked soft compounds of Pirelli tyres, along with three sets of wet tyres, should the weather require, apiece for each driver.
THE FIELD
WHERE TO FOLLOW
Each day will be available to follow via live timing on the official FIA Formula 2 website. Reports will be online at the end of each test day, along with driver and team reactions from Barcelona. Keep up to date with all the goings on via the official F2 social media channels across all three days.
